Basic Rental Program
The BluFax rental program is designed for customers who would like to use our portable units for short term studies, gain experience with BluFax on real studies before purchasing, or to supplement existing data collection capabilities for larger-scale studies.
Rental Terms
Portable off-line units are available for rent by the week. Portable units arrive fully charged and ready to place in the field. Standard configurations for rental units include:
- Portable, off-line unit in a weather-proof Pelican case.
- Micro SD card for temporary data storage.
- Class 1 Bluetooth radio and antenna with detection zone of approximately 100 m (300 ft) in diameter. Class 2 antennas available upon request (detection zone approximately 10 m or 30 ft).
- Fully charged battery capabile of operating for a minimum of 12 days on a charge. Depending on your location, batteries may be dropped-shipped to you separately to reduce your shipping charges or when units must be shipped by air-freight to meet your delivery requirements (a).
- Down-load information and licence to use BluStats data processing software.
